This week in inbound marketing we review Mary Meeker's 2018 Internet Trends Report, key insights and takeaways from the report, plus we look at what it takes to create a powerful, convincing case study.
Mary Meeker’s annual internet trends report offers a 30,000-foot view of the current state and future of digital. It’s one of the most anticipated reports in the advertising/marketing industry and is full of insights about where consumers are spending the most time and where advertising dollars are being allocated. Mary Meeker’s report carries a wealth of data about consumer and internet trends. But identifying marketing opportunities or threats from the report can be a little bit more of a challenge. According to the report, users spend 29 percent of their media time on mobile devices—but advertisers are only allocating 26 percent of their budgets to mobile.
