Blankenship comes to SmartBug Media most recently from 24tru, an up and coming technology firm serving the qualitative research industry, where she served as Marketing Manager. Under her leadership, the company saw a dramatic spike to both its web traffic and lead generation. From the time Blankenship began implementing her strategy, 24tru experienced a 1,100 percent increase in leads and a 375 percent increase in unique website visitors over the previous year. Prior to that, Blankenship was Marketing Manager for Conexus, a third-party logistics company offering complete freight brokering solutions. Blankenship played a major role in the company's rebranding efforts, which resulted in Conexus receiving an award from the Transportation Marketing & Sales Association (TMSA) in 2013. As a part of her marketing strategy, she also launched a blog for the company, which increased lead generation by 90 percent month over month. Blankenship brings more than 8 years of inbound marketing experience to SmartBug Media and holds multiple inbound marketing and product certifications from HubSpot. She is a graduate of Grand Canyon University, where she received her B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. She also holds her web design certification from Rio Salado College. When Blankenship isn't busy flexing her marketing muscles she loves to travel. The jet setter has visited 39 of the 50 United Sates and has called seven U.S. States her home.
